Rooms were nice and beds were incredibly comfortable! The ONLY reason I docked a star has more to do with some of the guests and not necessarily the establishment. I occasionally ran into guests doing things like flossing and clipping their nails out in public spaces (not around food though so don't worry!!!) Housekeeping was always sure to apologize and cleaned immediately behind these guests. My guess is that they aren't allowed to take action like that, but I greatly appreciated their being on top of everything!
Room and service was very nice. Friendly people around town. The surrounding area was not as lively since we are in a small town.
Excellent facility. Everyone was very professional and very considerate towards the customers. Front desk men were awesome. Would definately stay there if I ever have to return to Wilkesboro. Great job guys....thumbs up
This place is fantastic! Amazing staff, spectacular coffee and beautiful newly renovated exterior and starting on interior!
I stayed one night at the Hampton Inn in Wilkesboro. Overall, it was a nice stay, albeit a short one. Check-in was prompt as I had pre-checked in online the night before. The room and bathroom were clean and nice, typical for a Hampton Inn. The location is very convenient, right off US-421 and there's a Sagebrush Steakhouse right next door. I was tired after hiking all day, so after checking in, I just walked over and had dinner and drinks. There's complimentary breakfast in the morning though it wasn't the best breakfast I've had at a Hampton Inn. They did have a waffle maker that made four mini-waffles instead of a big one. But overall the selection and freshness wasn't as good as other Hampton Inns. That being said, it was a nice stay and I'd consider staying here again if I'm in the area.
