This school allows you to be expressive and happy, allowing freedom and acceptance of any sort.
This school is absolutely awful. The teachers and ugh the damn students are horrible everywhere i turn theirs dip on the floor. the lunches are way too small and soggy and disgusting but Wilkes county thinks its """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""just right"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" Thank God im out of there i would rate this school with one word. This school is a mere meh. Wilkes Central really cares about it's reputation and spends all of their money on football equipment. Once you're in here as a freshman; you are going to have the worst 4 years of your life. You also have no freedoms here. You can't express yourself in any way shape or form.
The school itself is fine, I wished we used our money more for things we need other than football equipment and doors.. Everyone cares so much about football although there is always other clubs that could use the money more than the football team.
School is ok, but they really need to value more opportunity for disabled children in special education or they will fall behind. I think some of the teachers are very good individuals while the bully is very harsh their to where it drove me away. Nothing is really done which the teacher have their hands tide while it's until someone get a broken nose a bruised eye is 2 parents screaming at each other cause there sweet little angel with a pair of horns going to the hospital for getting what he rightfully deserves. Drama is a real big factor which is not exactly any different from other schools but I believe their is room for improvement on nutritional benefits beside pizza and french fries every 3 days. The place is clean in a tidy manner and very warming. The only thing that doesn't mainly satisfy my expectation is that no one seems to introduce that special education so students can live up to there god given potential.It's very sad because a lot of children who come out of middle school who have been on special education will fall behind on grades if nothing is done.
